He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Mildred Gottschalk, Sr. (House); his close friend Kathleen Feldman; and his niece Aimee McCormick Turrall. He is survived by: his sister Elizabeth Jane McCormick of Finksburg, MD; and his sibling's children, Brett McCormick, Megan McCormick Thompson and Brenna McCormick.
