He was predeceased by: his parents, James Unkart and Dorothy Unkart (Beyer); his former wife Laura Jane Unkart; his siblings, Jimmy and Janice; and his nephew Joey Wilkinson.
He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Unkart (Kristin) and Jay Unkart (Michelle); his grandchildren, Bailey and Colby; his sister Judy Roth; his close friend Beth Wilkinson; Tommy, Cindy Osborne, Scott, Tina Wilkinson, Cole, Kayla, Joey and Reese.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eline Funeral Home (2901 Bloom Rd, Finksburg, MD 21048). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens (2800 Old Westminster Pike, Finksburg, MD 21048).
