Karen Langer Carr Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Langer Carr of Westminster, Maryland, who passed away on September 25, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Langer and Helen Langer (Whalen); her husband James Aloysisus Carr; and her sister Sheila Ferdinand (Celine Smith). She is survived by: her children, Jim Carr (Teree), Matt Carr (Hilary) and Kara Barth (Wayne); her grandchildren, Samantha Keese (Mike), Brendan Carr, Katie Carr, Andrew Barth, Charlie Carr and Matthew Barth; her great grandchild Ada Keese; and her siblings, Francis Langer (Barbara Yelle) and Michele Miller. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church (5105 Ocean Hwy W, Shallotte, NC 28470).
