He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Elwood, Sr. and Ida Mildred Reid (Depew); his wife Deborah Lynn Reid (Ecker); his daughter Jennifer Waldman (Matthew); his stepdaughter Melissa Maloney (Chris); his son Adam Reid (Emily); his grandchildren, Julianne, Miles, Olivia and Amelia; and his brother Robert Ellwood Reid, Jr. (Phyllis).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel (412 Washington Rd, Westminster, MD 21157). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Boys Town or the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.
