She was predeceased by: her parents, Fern Leroy and Gertrude Armacost Smith; her husband Gordon Frank Wickes, Jr.; and her brother Mikey. She is survived by: her children, Leah Wickes Thomas (Joe) and Ian Randolph Wickes (Carolina); her siblings, Lynn Richardson and Randy Smith (Sara); and her grandson Ethan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home (91 Willis St, Westminster, MD 21157). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, Westminster Church of the Brethren, The Heffer Project, or a charity of your choice.
