He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Emery and Marjorie Emery; and his wife Sylvia M. Emery. He is survived by: his brother Jack; his grandson Max Critchfield; and his children, Carol Critchfield (John), Susan Renner (Paul), David Emery (Wendy) and Janet Regan (Michael). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
