He was predeceased by: his parents, Murton Hammond and Thelma Hammond (Millberry); his siblings, Murton "Pete" Hammond, Bernard Millberry and Patsy Millberry; and his nephew Darren Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie Hammond; his stepchildren, Victoria Jarboe, Roy Jarboe and Grant Jarboe; and his siblings, Gerald Millberry, Pernell Hammond, Sharon Jones, Gilbert Hammond, Phyllis Hammond-Butts (Mike) and Therl Hammond. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel (412 Washington Rd, Westminster, MD 21157). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
