We are sad to announce that, on May 18, 2026, at the age of 75, Richard E. Petry of Westminster, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, D. Oscar Petry and Minnie Lee Petry Jackson (Albaugh); his wife Lisa Louise Petry (Albaugh); his brother Jeff Petry; his brother-in-law Harry Yingling; and his father-in-law Gaylard T. Albaugh, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Allen, Richard Peregoy and Carl Petry; his grandchildren, Sabrina Allen, James Allen and Lexi Petry; his siblings, Thomas Petry (Kimberly), Patricia Yingling, Judy Zepp (Tim) and William Petry (Karla); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Petry and Gaylard Albaugh Jr. (Tim Chumley). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
