He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Elmer, Sr. and Virginia Day (Fair); and his wife Katherine Jean Day. He is survived by: his daughters, Ann Slebodnik and Frances Iglehart (Edward); his grandchildren, Catherine Blumberg (Patrick Fenyes), Skylar, Karmin and Miley; and his siblings, Roy "Denny" Day, Elizabeth Taylor and Bonnie Davis.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel (412 Washington Rd, Westminster, MD 21157). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
