Robert leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Robert’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Robert will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Joseph Freyer and Sarah Elizabeth Freyer (Klinger); and his grandmother Geraldine Klinger. He is survived by: his wife Winnie Freyer; his sons, Rob L. Freyer (Holly) of Westminster and Matthew A. Freyer of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; his grandson Brandon Gibson; and his brother Lou Macklin (Joy) of Laurel. He is also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartzler Funeral Home (310 Church St, New Windsor, MD 21776). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
