He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret E. Beard (Heagy) and George W. Beard; his wife Arlene R. Beard; and his brother Donald Beard. He is survived by: his children, Georgia Beard Danner (Wayne) of Cocoa, FL and Allen R. Beard (Bobbi) of Frederick; his grandchildren, Justin, Amy and Cliff; and his great grandchildren, Sterling, Bryce, Caitlin, Emma and Molly.
