With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Martin Hackett Jr. of Westminster, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 10, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas M. Hackett, Sr. and Virginia Hackett; his wife Shirley Lee Hackett; and his siblings, Joan Schneider, Betty Amantea and Dennis Hackett.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Potter (Stephen) of Westminster and Martin W. Hackett (Amy) of Westminster; his sister Rita McMahon of Severna Park; his grandchildren, Todd Kollman (Kara), Bethany Reiter (Shawn), Brett Hackett and Paige Hackett; and his great grandchildren, Lillian, Riley, Brantley Reiter and Kayden Kollman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
