He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas Mitchell and Mildred Delaney Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Nance Mitchell; his children, Michael (Annie Mitchell), Megan (Scott Buete) and Tricia (Jeremiah Hall); his sister Mary Jo (Frank Burja); his grandchildren, Michael, Taylor Mitchell, Bodi, Sully Buete, Regan and Brody Hall; his nieces and nephews, Tom Burja (Laura Burja), Callan, Lucy Burja and Jim Burja (Lacey Burja); and his great-nephews, Joe, Nate Burja and Steven Burja (Lauren Burja). He is also survived by many extended family including nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, sympathies may be expressed in the form of contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
