He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Slater and Elizabeth Slater; and his brother Robert Slater (Bob). He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his daughters, Kim Duvall (Tim) and Beth Slater-Magee (Chuck); his grandchildren, Hailey Humbert (Aaron), Lindsay McCollum (Aaron) and Grant Duvall (Chloe); and his great grandchildren, Celia Humbert, Emma Humbert and Simon Duvall.
