He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Chakwin and Rose Mary Chakwin (Cortazzo); his wife Linda Chakwin; his children, William Chakwin (Stacey), Christopher Chakwin (Michelle), Timothy Chakwin (Melanie), Laura Walsh (Brian), Robert Hensley (Amy) and David Hensley (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Jack, Amelia, Christin, Whit, Jude, Casie, Ryan, Tanner, Alec, Kyle and Christopher; and his siblings, Mary Okerson (Thomas), Michael Chakwin and Elizabeth Azarian (Steven).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel (412 New Washington Rd, Westminster, MD 21157). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
