He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Thorn and Geargia Stolzenbach Thorn; and his daughter Denise Smith. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Thorn (Queen); his daughters, Jacqueline Freeland (Steven) and Cynthia Kraynie; his brother Walter Thorn; his sons, Jeffrey Rhodes (Victoria) and Timothy Rhodes (Crista Polich); and his sisters, Patricia Bowen (Louis) and Geargia DeVese (Gordon). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
