She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladiola Carter Jones and William McKinley Jones; her sons, Malcolm Smith and Troy Smith; and her siblings, Regina Jones, Shirlene Jones and Roynald Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Jones, Malisa Williams of Charles, Selina Jones and Carter "Ondre" Jones; and her siblings, William S. Jones, Thomas Jones, Markell Jones, Sadie C. Holbert and Michelle Jones. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, pouring her heart into her family, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home (3439 Livingston Rd, Indian Head, MD 20640). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at the Heritage Memorial Cemetery (13472 Poplar Hill Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601).
