He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Barben Sr. and Margaret Barben (Thompson); and his siblings, Charles Jr., Betty Gray (Barben) and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Barben (Lee); his children, Steven Barben (Amy) of Delta, PA and Joanna Hilsmeier (Kurt) of Stewartstown, PA.; his grandchildren, Jacob Barben of South Carolina, Sara and Connor Hilsmeier of Stewartstown, PA.; and his brother Daniel "Danny" Barben (Tina).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wagner-Elfner and Harkins Funeral Home & Cremation Services (600 Main St, Delta, PA 17314). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
