She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Grimes and Genevieve Grimes (Keeney); and her siblings, Rosie Lamb, Kathleen Ray, Evelyn Warfield, Dorothy "Peggy" May, Annabelle May, Charles Grimes and Kenneth Grimes.
She is survived by: her husband Nathan L. Haines, Jr.; her sons, Douglas May (Lindsay May) and Grayson May; her stepdaughter Hilary Cree (Nicholas Cree); and her siblings, Barbara Smith, Shirley Webb and William Grimes. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
