He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel K. Martin and Iva P. Martin (Martin); his wife Ellen R. Martin (Petre); his siblings, Mary Eby, Aletha Hostetter, Vesta Martin, Samuel W. Martin and Elvin L. Martin; his nephew J. Rodney Martin; his niece Eunice Eby Petre; his great-nephews, Lowell and Marvin Miller; and his great-grandparent Miles.
He is survived by: his children, Mirabel Caden and Douglas E. Martin (Rowena); his grandchildren, Ryan Q. Martin (Emily Cahill), Drew Q. Martin and Travis Jolly (Ariella); his sister-in-law Mary Wilfong; and his close friend Gloria Gomez.
