He was predeceased by: his parents, Kreps A. Eichelberger and Pearl I. Eichelberger (Wise); his daughter Ginny Marie Eichelberger; his siblings, Linda Twigg and Leonard Eihelberger; and his stepbrother David Clopper.
He is survived by: his wife Betty R. Eichelberger (Grimes); his children, Kristy L. Beatty (Eichelberger) and Gary E. Eichelberger Jr.; his granddaughter Emilianna; his sisters, Shirley K. Myers and Etta R. Witmer; and his stepbrother Simon Clopper.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Minnich Funeral Home (415 E Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
