He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Burkett Gerhart and Helen Louise Schlotterbeck Gerhart; his wife Dorothy Jean Gerhart (Bloyer); his sister Doris Lucille Younker; and his brother-in-law Glenn Younker (Pete).
He is survived by: his son Wayne Allen Gerhart; his sister Mildred Eichelberger (Jack); and also Marcie Foster. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Osborne Funeral Home (425 S Conococheague St, Williamsport, MD 21795). A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (600 S Potomac St, Hagerstown, MD 21740).
