He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Burkett Gerhart and Helen Louise Schlotterbeck Gerhart; his wife Dorothy Jean Gerhart (Bloyer); his sister Doris Lucille Younker; and his brother-in-law Glenn Younker (Pete).
He is survived by: his son Wayne Alan Gerhart; his sister Mildred Eichelberger (Jack); and his close friend Marcie Foster. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
