He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Burger (Martin); his son James Robert Burger, Jr. (Mary); his sister-in-law Saundra Largent (Frank); his sibling's children, Ann Whalen, Peter Hong (Kee), Diana Church (Mike), Earl Shank (Shirley), Kim Bloyer (Chuck), Ernie Taylor (Dawn), Angie Rowe (George), Tammi Gossard, Traci Castle (Ron), Jack "Troy" Myers and Lori Parris (William); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Audry Patrick (Whalen), Risha Toci (Whalen), Angie Hong, Tony Hong, Susan Hone, Nicole Bloyer, Jordan Shank (Megan), Kaylee Rowe (Brian), Justin Castle (Brandi), Jason Castle (Sierra), Michael Myers, Christopher Myers, Kialyn Parris, Isiah Parris, William Parris, John Gossard, Joshua Gossard, Brandi Smith, Caleb Myers, Danasia Dickey, Alena Myers, Kacey Myers and Jack Myers, Jr..
