She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Kretzer, Sr. and Helen V. Kretzer (Edwards); her former husband Harold "Jack" Shipley; her son Chad G. Ellis; and her siblings, Charles E. Kretzer, Jr., Gary W. Kretzer, Rev. Robert Kretzer, Connie J. Burgan and Janet M. Swope.

She is survived by: her caregiver Wayne C. Moser; her son Ronald Ellis, Jr.; her siblings, Anna M. Forsythe, Donald N. Kretzer and Daniel R. Kretzer; and her stepdaughters, Debra C. Moser and Diane M. Lady. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
