She was predeceased by: her father Donn E. Waddy; her grandparents, Palmer Waddy (Shorty) and Early Elizabeth Waddy; her great-grandparent Carrie Grant Banks; her aunts, Curmaleta Smith, Palmeretta Denise Waddy-Harris, Beverly Merriweather and Diane Banks; her brother Donn Waddy Jr. (Don Don); her cousin Ron Banks, Jr.; and her extended family, Wardell and Patricia Watkins.
She is survived by: her mother Daphne R. Adams (Banks); her stepmother Judy Waddy; her stepgrandmother Gertrude Banks; her siblings, Dujuana Waddy-Duckett (Winston), Lynn Watkins, Christopher, Drew Waddy and Master Sergeant (Kyle Waddy-Jordan); her aunts and uncles, Illma Best, Karen Pearson, Marion Gross (Brian), Lisa Darlington (James), Jack Banks, Jr., Ron Banks (Sandy), Ray Banks (Eric) and Martin Banks (Ann Marie); her nieces and nephews, Donovan, Winston Duckett (Little Winnie), Diana and Daja Waddy; her great-nieces, Ci'Niya Fullilove and Kehlani Lester; and her cousin Willie Grant, Jr. (Pat). She is also survived by other members of the Grant family; extended families.
Christal's professional contribution to the auto industry was recognized with various awards and memberships.
