Megan Lynn Bates Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Megan Lynn Bates of Woodbine, Maryland, born in Damascus, Maryland, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by : her close friend Doug Baum; her daughter Madelyn Bates (Maddie); her sisters, Sharon Branthover, Kristin Smrkovski and Susan Branthover; her brothers-in-law, Scott Smrkovski and Alex Barros; her nephews, Alea Baily, Cole Baily, Emalie Jaramillo and Alexa Barros; her daughter Maddie; and her pet Bubba.

In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to be made to John's Hopkins Children's Center.
