He was predeceased by : his wife Sakkubai Selvakesavan; and his daughter Vidya Farook. He is survived by : his son Murari Selvakesavan; his children-in-law, Bavani Murari and Farook Thameem; and his grandchildren, Sarah Farook, Akhil Farook, Ashish Farook, Anish Murari and Shreyan Murari. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
