With sadness, we share the passing of Gary L. Smith of Woodstock, Maryland. Gary, born on November 8, 1947, passed away on September 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Gary for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Gary’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Smith and Esther Smith; and his brother Wes Smith. He is survived by: his wife Linda A. Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Remmel (Jeff), Steven Gunning (Belinda), Lorraine Gunning and Robin Smith.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Eline Funeral Home (11824 Reisterstown Rd, Reisterstown, MD 21136). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
