Blanche Editha Scott Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Blanche Editha Scott of Worton, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Scott, Sr.; her son Norman D. Scott, Jr. (August); her parents, Lulu Ida Greenwood and Merritt Minner Meekins; and her siblings, Harvey (Ann), Rebecca (Arthur), George (Ann) and Anna (Earl).
She is survived by: her sister Edith (late George); her children, Alan Scott (Muffy) and Holly Scott Langenfelder (Bill); her daughter-in-law Donna Scott; her grandchildren, Jason (Brandi), Lacey (Mitch), Ethan, Alexis and Kendall; and her great grandchildren, Savannah, Barron, Callan, Maddox, Declan, Emersyn and Wren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Newnam Funeral Home (130 Speer Rd, Chestertown, MD 21620). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Still Pond Methodist Church in Blanche's memory.
