He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabrielle Violette (Dionne) and Francis Violette; his daughters, Amanda McKnight (Violette) and Danielle Redman (Violette); his siblings, Daniel Violette, Steven Violette and Sandra Gammond (Violette); his brother-in-law Andrew Palange; and his nephew Curtis Small.
He is survived by: his wife Kristina Violette (Lalemand); his siblings, Susan Palange, Gail Coolidge (Charles (Chuck) Coolidge) and Gary Violette (Barbara (Barbie) Violette); and his grandchildren, Brak Cox (Kim Frost), Madilyn Violette-Redman (Maddie) and Dakoda Redman (Kody). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Funeral Services Honoring David's Life (217 Turner St, Auburn, ME 04210). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
