It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Merrill Chapman of Auburn, Maine, who passed away on May 9, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Merrill and Marjorie Merrill (Gia). She is survived by: her aunt Dorothy; her sister Ginny; her friend Maynard Chapman; her husband Maynard Chapman; her daughters, Shelly (Todd Mogul) and Sarah (Christian Duchette); her grandchildren, Alissa, Alex and Hannah; and her great grandchild Hunter.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Danville Grange, United Methodist Church, or The Hospice House.
