She was predeceased by : her parents, Fire Captain Ernest J. Verderber and Mary Collins Verderber; her sister Josephine Verderber Clark (Richard Briggs Gatchell); her son Richard; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Perruzzi (Bob) and Herbie Gatchell (Katharine).

She is survived by : her husband Richard; her friends, Pat, Buzzy Edwards, Marion, Gay, Don Cooper, Jan, Eddie Taber, Loris and Henry Brooker (Geri Brushwein); her children, Susan, Diane and David Verderber Gatchell; her granddaughter Katie Gatchell Asselin (Coby); her great grandchildren, Kirsten Lupher, Jake Lupher, Cassie Asselin and Gracie Chasse; her daughters-in-law, Peggy Gatchell and Kathy Mooney-Thayer (Bob); her stepgrandchildren, Tracy Mathews and Kevin Simoneau; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Spencer and Parker Simoneau; and her nieces and nephews, Jon Perruzzi (Lisa), Jay Perruzzi (Jenny), Jill Wyman and Bonnie-Kay Hendrickson (Dennis).
