It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Russell Gallagher of Auburn, Maine, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothea (Charles); and his siblings, Brian and Jean Marie (David). He is survived by: his siblings, Charles (Sun), Lloyd (Maureen), Robert (Rikki), Walter (Jan) and Peg (Jack). He is also survived by his brothers, sisters and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers John's family is requesting donations be made in his memory to Andwell Hospice (nonprofit) as they provided exceptional support to John in his final days.
