He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar "Ockie" Scammon and Dorothy "Dodie" Brooker Scammon; his brother Ronnie; his brother-in-law Tommy; and his nephew Ryan.

He is survived by: his wife Denise; his children, Dana and Jeffrey (Renee); his siblings, Vicki (Scot) and Jamie (Karen); his siblings-in-law, Nancy, Karen (Tom), Lisa, Ninette (Pete) and Peter (Cristina); and his caregiver Kim. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; and many dear friends.
