She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius van of Craats and Eva Diena Petronella; her siblings, Gys, Dien and Nellie; and her granddaughter Emily Ann.
She is survived by: her husband MSgt Calvin Mitchell Jr.; and her children, Debbie Belanger (Jim), Calvin Mitchell III (Mariah) and Kevin Mitchell (Julie). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
