He is survived by: his children, Gary McCarty (Lisa), Lori Ann Leclerc (Bruno) and Douglas McCarty; his granddaughters, Tanya McCarty-Barrett (Josh) and Jennifer Dissell (Matt); his great grandchildren, Joshua Barrett II, Leah Barrett, Cooper Dissell, Piper Dissell and Jackson Dissell; his siblings, Roberta Reher (Jerry) and Vernon "Butch" Burns; his niece April McCarty; his siblings-in-law, Sonny LaVallee (Dot) and Priscilla Thompson; and his close friends, Jimmy Poulin and Francine Duval.
