He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen A. Dowling and Anna Dowling (Milne). He is survived by: his wife Marcella Gallagher Dowling (Johnson) of Chelsea, ME; his daughter Sharon Krechkin; his granddaughter Cortney Tanner (James); his great grandchildren, Reeve and Harlow Tanner of Windsor; his brother-in-law William White (Desanges); his cousins, Betty Westgate and Gerine Dowling; his stepchildren, Tammy, Ed Symes, Randy Gallagher (Sharon), Peter Gallagher, Jeff Gallagher (Dawn) and Michael Gallagher (Crystal); and his brother-in-law Bruce Johnson (Linda).
