It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anita Fecteau (Augusta, Maine), who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 106, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Baptiste Gendreau and Julie Gendreau (Clavette); her husband Lionel Fecteau; her siblings, Wallace Gendreau, Hervy Gendreau, Edwin Gendreau, Yvette Quirion and Dorina LaMothe; her granddaughter Shannon Ryan; and her children-in-law, Susan Fecteau and Ronald Gotreau.
She is survived by: her children, Raymond Fecteau (Lucette), Jeannine Gotreau, Deanna Colwell (Harley), David Fecteau and Julie Armstrong (Wilbur); her siblings, Nestor Gendreau, Gilberte Evens, Sr., Irma Gendreau, Real Gendreau and Eldon Gendreau; her grandchildren, Denise, Nicole (George), Andrea (Jamie), Susan (Danny), Amy (Michael), Rebecca (Jeremy), Allison, Michael and Cameron (Melissa); and her great grandchildren, Aislinn, Madelyn, Ryan, Jack, Charlie, Brady, Wyatt, Emmett, Austin and Madeline. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Plummer Funeral Home (16 Pleasant St, Augusta, ME 04330). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (75 Northern Ave, Augusta, ME 04330). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Maine Veteran's Cemetery (163 Mount Vernon Rd, Augusta, ME 04330).
