It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Jackson (Augusta, Maine), who passed away on May 26, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manly True Shute Sr. and Velma Shute; her siblings, Richard, Lester, Manly True Jr., Emery Shute, Edna Shute, Emily Shute, Pearl Seekins, Justina DiTaranto, Isabel Milewski and Theodate Wilcox; and her grandson Jackson Norris.
She is survived by: her husband Elmer "Lee" Jackson Jr.; her children, Jeffrey Jackson (Carol) and Cindy Hall (Jaison); her grandchildren, Colin, Heath Jackson and Michelle Johnson; her great grandchildren, Bryson Johnson and Sadie Johnson; and her grandson Seth Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
