He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Fletcher and Helen Fletcher (Costley); his siblings, Frances Ayotte (Clifford), Regina Diplock (Robert), Nancy Guerin (Don) and Ed Fletcher (Sally); and his nephew Mark Gorman.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Fletcher; his brother Thomas C. Fletcher (Sandra); his brother-in-law Patrick Gilbert (Julanne); his nieces, Mary Ayotte, Barbara Mispilkin, Stacia Beimler, Alison Giorlando (Frank), Suzy Linardis (George) and Emily Gilbert (Morgan); and his nephew Samuel Gilbert (Cassie McKarns).
