Francis C. Soares Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis C. Soares in Augusta, Maine, who passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Francis C. Soares to pay them a last tribute.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Francis is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Soares and Francis Cooke Soares, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Soares; his children, Michael Soares, Kristina Stuber and Joanna Campbell; his stepchildren, Wendy Roderick and Jeffrey Breton; and his siblings, Tom and Carolyn. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (163 Mount Vernon Rd, Augusta, ME 04330).
