With solemn reverence, we commemorate Francis L. Lorette (Augusta, Maine), whose life came to an end on May 31, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lorette (Eddie) and Beatrice Lorette (Hovey); his siblings, Angus Lorette, Roberta Baker and Hazel Pratt (Austin); his former wife Shirley Lorette (Neil); and his stepdaughter Linda Halligan.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Halligan (Bohn); his children, Dawna Bailey (Dean), David Lorette (Jennifer) and Michele Lorette-Hughes (Michael); and his stepdaughter Joan Ladakakos (Halligan). He is also survived by grandchildren and 5 blended great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home (62 Bowdoin St, Winthrop, ME 04364). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery (143 Blue Star Ave, Augusta, ME 04330).
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the American Legion Post 40, Winthrop, Maine.
