He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Williams DesRosier; his wife Arlene Warren Jones DesRosier; and his sisters, Loretta DesRosier Abernathy and Pearl DesRosier Dispirito (Louis). He is survived by: his father George DesRosier Sr.; his close friend Doris Casagranda; his children, Jody Newman (David), Jolene Turner (John) and Richard DesRosier (Chrissy Chaput); his grandchildren, Jasmine Hope Turner (Tyler Kimbar), Jason Patrick Turner, Nathanial Taylor Newman (Fidelis Pebenito), Elizabeth Cassey Hershey (Elija) and Michael Tobey; his great grandchildren, Lucy Valor Hershey and Abishai Justice Hershey; his sister Marion Pratt; his nephews, William Abernathy Jr. (Linda), Bart Abernathy and Brad Abernathy; and his pet Punky.
