He was predeceased by: his parents, Odias Poulin and Valeda Poulin; his wife Ruby; and his siblings, Irene, Adrien, Dorilas, Louida, Dominique and Annette.
He is survived by: his sisters, Rachel of St. George and Dolores (Rene) of St. George, Canada; and his children, Paul Poulin of Augusta, Deborah Coulombe (Andrew) of Vienna, Mary Poulin of Waterville and Jeanette Chartier (Rick) of Gardiner. He is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (75 Northern Ave, Augusta, ME 04330). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at the Holy Family Cemetery (139 Townsend Rd, Augusta, ME 04330).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Gerard's memory to the Activities Department at Gray Birch Residential Care.
