She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Jackson and Hazel Jackson (Cunningham); her husband Jerry Hutchinson; her former husband Earl Cooper; her son Michell E. Cooper; her siblings, Maurice Jackson and Grace Sproul; her nephew Gregg Brann; her sister Nancy Lee; and her niece Wendy.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie Colby (Daniel), Veronica Hopkins (Dave Robinson), Sterling Cooper (Brenda), Kelly Spaulding (David) and Tracy Ellis; and her siblings, Rose White (Phillip), Donna Jones (Robert) and Donald Jackson (Trudy). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
