He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward Mitchell Sr. and Mildred Deloris Mitchell; and his brothers, John, Robert, Alton and Albert Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Norine Mitchell; his daughter Monique Crummett (Justin); his grandson Noah; his sons, Christopher Mitchell (Brigette) and Michael Mitchell (Pamela); his grandchildren, Felix and Akela; his son Dwyane Mitchell (Becky); his grandson Amir; his children, Destiny, Victor, Victoria and Kavhon; his cousin Hannable Weldon of Capital Heights, MD; and also, Monique, Shannika, CaSaundra and Camil. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery (143 Blue Star Ave, Augusta, ME 04330).
