He is survived by: his mother Charlotte Gourley (Hassan); his wife Mary Libby (Carter); his daughters, Katherine Libby (Gretchen) and Charlotte Libby; his brothers, Harlow James "Jimmy" Libby, Jr. (Jimmy) and L. Jon Libby; his stepbrother Troy Gourley; his grandchildren, Fiona, Piper Hallowell, Amber Nichols and Daryl Luce; his adoptive son Tristan Ward; his stepson Joshua Trott; and his stepgrandchildren, Joshua Trott, Shawn Trott, Alexa Trott, Liam Trott and Brooke Trott.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery (163 Mount Vernon Rd, Augusta, ME 04330).
