He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Bradstreet (Dyer) and Oscar T. Bradstreet; his wife Donna Louise Carlo; and his sister Marian. He is survived by: his brother Samuel of Merritt Island, FL; his children, Heather of South Portland and Stuart (Amy); and his grandchildren, Olivia and Adam of Palermo. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

“Samuel, i'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved brother john. I was 6 months old when i spent my first thanksgiving with your family. Your parents, gertrude and oscar were true friends to my parents, i look over at the point daily and think of all the happy times spent there. I wish john could have enjoyed the "camp" in his later years. The last time i saw him, he still had hope that he would someday. My fond memories of time spent with john will forever be in my heart.
