He was predeceased by: his parents, Orrin Bearce and Doris Bearce (McCafferty); his parents-in-law, Edmund Saucier and Joanne Saucier (Joler); his siblings, Debbie Walsh, Daniel Bearce and Ryan Bearce; and his sisters-in-law, Kate Bearce and Susan Surette (Saucier).

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Bearce (Saucier); his stepson Christopher J. Jacques (Alexis Lint); his siblings, Kathryn Bearce, Paula Katyryniuk (Ron), Jeffrey Bearce (Joanna) and Lisa Mitchell (Steve); his siblings-in-law, Michael Saucier (Paula Craighead), Jon Saucier (Nancy), Daniel Saucier (Brenda), James Saucier (Jean), Peter Saucier, Paul Saucier (Cindy), Sandra Bard (Andrew Heckler) and Cathy Kershner (Dirk); and his close friend Christopher Crowell (Jes). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Notre Dame Catholic Church (116 Silver St, Waterville, ME 04901). A burial was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at the St. Francis Catholic Cemetery (78 Grove St, Waterville, ME 04901).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to MaineGeneral Health – Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care in Augusta, Maine.
