It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Thomas Sullivan (Augusta, Maine), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Dewey Sullivan and Grace Sullivan (O'Malley); and his siblings, Charles Sullivan and Eileen Sullivan. He is survived by : his wife Marsha Sullivan; his stepchildren, Steven Schmidt (Teresa) and Lisa Hicks; and his stepgrandchildren, Karl Schmidt, Darren Hicks (McKenzie) and Brianna Hicks. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Plummer Funeral Home (16 Pleasant St, Augusta, ME 04330). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in John's name may be made to the Maine Veteran's Home, 35 Hero's Way, Augusta, ME 04330 OR Kennebec Valley Humane Society, 168 Leighton Rd., Augusta, ME 04330.
